直昇機引擎在目前也是有很多採離心式壓縮機,最大原因還是構造簡單...單一離心是壓縮機可以很輕易的達到所需的壓所比,軸流式的優點則是同一引擎截面積可以吸入更多空氣,但需要多級的渦輪去組合才可以達到所需的壓所比,在下認為以遙控模型飛機而言離心式壓縮機應該比較適合～二級壓縮跟雙面進氣的壓縮機不太一樣,二級壓縮因為有高低壓之分,所以應該要有兩組Nozzle guide vanes（噴嘴導片簡稱NGV)及兩組排氣渦輪分別對應高低壓進氣渦輪,這兩組都屬於自由渦輪不應該相牽制....模型飛機引擎而言首重推力比犧牲點效率也無所謂~~~~~

Hello All

Well I have 5 flights on My Kingtech K80E now and it is running well. The throttle response is very good and it's very nice to have when it comes time to land the F-104.
I'm sorry been too busy to get real numbers, however I can say that it is a nicely built turbine that runs smooth and is very fast throttling, I was able to get about 17.5 lbs on our test stand at sea level and 80 degrees F, the scale we use may not be completely accurate and our slides that we use are pretty old so we may have some friction losses on our stand. Actual thrust might be slightly higher.

I have been running 5 min flights and still have 34 oz left in the tanks when I land. I should be able to get the same 7 min flight time that I had using the old 54 sized turbine that I had installed. I will make an effort to video the performance and install next Sunday.

Great turbine im very happy with mine. Thanks to my Wife Jill once again for the great pictures!
