I see, because i just bought  a used outrigger with twin engines. He sold to me very cheap because he lost the flex cable, and i can buy the left lay with sheft, but not right lay one. Right lay cable is easy to have it, but not with sheft.  So i need build it myself.  But like you say it is difficult without special tool, i think i just buy the cable and sheft first, ask someone help for the welding part when I back to Taiwan......Hope it will works.......

wow. twin engine outrigger. It might be a nice one. Please show us some fotos. About the R turn cable and shaft, you can talk to Remy (owner of Aeromarine),I think he is able to arrange . If not, I am able to do the welding job here in Taiwan. you may tell me the lenth and the size of the shaft. I probably can arrange here in Taiwan and send it ti the US to you . let me know what you prefer to do.............................
