If you use thicker aluminium plates, the weight will really reach 1 ton.  If thinner plate is used, the weight will surely be lighter and even lighter if you just use plastic materials.  This is a rough estimate.

I prefer to alu-plate tank with scaled-thickness (that's the idea of "scaled model tank").  Wether with thin or thick plate, It's heavy anyway.
The real tank has  thick armor to amaze me, so should does the scaled model tank.

是的﹗內部裝備如果太落伍﹐是沒法和洋人競爭的。就算要土法煉鋼﹐也得煉出「真鋼」。難道已經21世紀了﹐還沒法裝備電子變速器? 還在用田宮舊遙控車的機械式變速器? 為省錢嗎? 想來真不可思議﹗
