航海模型一向就不被重視，礙於難找到合適場地，遇上官僚作風，就更加雪上加霜了。同情.........

香港地方雖然小，但別小看我們的香港特別行政區，官僚作風絕對不會輸給台灣的，我們 HKMTA 向香港政府租借場地比賽也被否決了。回覆信中妙語連珠..............


Further to our tele-conversation and your preliminary information, sorry
to inform you that we will not consider to widen the area of the existing
model boat play area in Tin Shui Wai Park for the captioned event with the
following rationale:

(1) The artificial lake is not a purposefully built area for model boat
racing.
(2) The model play area is an integral part of a peaceful and aesthetic
lake as a whole which aims to cater for lesiure playing.
(3) A protection net  for fish will be constructed under the water so as
to separate the fishes from the model boats. Therefore, lots of cost will
be required to widen the playing area.

Hope you can find yourself a suitable venue with enough space for your
