At the same time it gains a vast of strong support from more than 100 associations，business associations and foreign consulates, is also the biggest and the most influencing and fruitful model exhibition in South China.

Optimum exhibition time: To be in convenience with the purchasers we adapt the exhibition time to an earlier date of May 1st-3rd which follow the 103rd session of the Guangzhou Export Commodities Fair and the Japan Shizuoka Model Exhibition.
Class-A exhibition hall: Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center was funded and built by the Shenzhen Government. Laying in the business center of the municipality, it is the biggest individual building in Shenzhen and covers an area of 220,000 m2. With the metro system directly connecting the busiest port of the main land of China---Luo Hu Port, Huang Gan Port, Fu Tian Port, it has very convenient traffics including dozens of nonstop public bus lines. And the most important point is that it is a place packed with peoples.  
Open special zone policy: SME2008 is the only professional exhibition in south China, and the Chinese government has allowed a 144-hour dispense of visa policy for the guests abroad who attend the exhibition via Hong Kong. The organization committees drew experience from the first session, positively show its advantage in strengthening the duty of inviting purchasers abroad, and are trying their best to promote the exhibition and improve its effect and enlarge its scale. The General Administration of Sport of China specially granted a board to Shenzhen as ‘National Sport Base’ in April 2007. There are six very competitive industries in Shenzhen. And model industry is the No.2 industry among them. The purpose of Shenzhen Model Expo is to show the fruit of the first sport base in China and the grand model industry in China, and to provide them a better connection with the world model industry and also a trading platform between them.
