In order to connect the Transmitter to the interface you need to make up the following lead.
Looking into the socket on the back of the FF9 Tx the top left pin connects to the centre pin of the 3.5mm jack plug and the top middle pin connects to the body of the 3.5mm jack plug. You also need to link the bottom right pin with the bottom middle pin so that when you insert the connector the transmitter powers up automatically. You can use two 3pin, 2mm pitch headers to fabricate the plug.
