Install the engine into the Raptor but do not tighten the 4 screws that go through the frame into the engine mount. Then spin the start shaft clockwise and see if it spins freely. If it does not the engine is hanging in a bit crooked. Move the engine with your other hand until you detect the start shaft spinning freely. Then tighten up the 4 screws. Make sure that when you tighten them up you do not tighten them up totally one at a time. Do it in an "X" pattern. Do one so it's just snug then move around to the rest. Then go over them all again and torque them down. This will eliminate any angular misalignment due to distortion from adverse tightening from the screws.
